​​​​The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority held a national workshop to raise awareness of the aspects of preventing the spread of nuclear weapons, with the participation of a number of national entities. The workshop will last for two days and aims to introduce the details of the international system for the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, the national role of the Kingdom in it, and the international instruments in this regard.​​​

​​​The Nuclear and Radiation Regulatory Author​ity held a five-day national training course for first responders to radiation emergencies.​​

​The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority held a training program entitled "Radiation Protection and Safety of Radioactive Sources" on Sunday, January 29, for a period of seven weeks, ending on March 16, 2023. The course includes theoretical lectures and practical exercises in the fields of nuclear and radiation regulatory work. The training program aims to build human capacities and raise the efficiency of national capacities in the fields of nuclear and radiation regulatory work and build the capacities and skills necessary for radiation safety and security standards and the requirements for their application in various radiation practices.​​

​​The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority has developed and implemented a specialized training program to build the capabilities of its employees in the field of verification for audit, evaluation, enforcement and field inspection of radiation facilities, activities and practices in all areas of medical and industrial radiation applications, and to ensure the safety of radiation practices, the safety of radiation sources, and the compliance of the licensed entity with safety standards and the requirements of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority.​​

​The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority held the three-week intensive national training program entitled "Radiation Emergency Management" in cooperation with the International Emergency Center of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The program aims to enhance the capabilities of the main national bodies that are members of the National Plan for Response to Radiation and Nuclear Emergencies to manage radiation emergencies by developing basic concepts for preparedness and response, and implementing multiple practical exercises for radiation emergency scenario​

​​The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Authority concluded the training program it organized in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency for employees of the ​Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, entitled "National Customs Course for Preparedness and Response to Nuclear and Radiological Emergencies" during the period from August 20 to 24, 2023 AD.​​
