​​​​​​​​​​​​The Aman platform aims to automate regulatory procedures and transform them into electronic services to enhance the efficiency and quality of the NRRC's regulatory operations. This facilitates access to and utilization of these services for beneficiaries, enabling entities to manage their affiliated facilities and apply for licenses.

Aman Platform Services

​1. Radiological Practices Licensing Service: 

This service allows facilities within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to request the issuance, modification, or renewal of licenses for radiological practices.

2. Radioactive Sources Import Licensing Serv​ice: 

This service allows licensed facilities in Saudi Arabia to request the import of radioactive sources.

3. Radioactive Sources Export Licensing Service:  

This service allows licensed facilities in Saudi Arabia to request the export of radioactive sources.

4​. Radioactive Sources Possession Transfer Licensing Service: 

This service allows licensed facilities in Saudi Arabia to request the transfer of possession of radioactive sources within the Kingdom, either between licensed facilities or within different branches of the same facility.


Radiological Practices Licensing Service: 

  1. Provide the NRRC with a letter from the legal representative and the delegate of the facility according to the attached templates and send them to NRRC CRM.
  2. The NRRC will notify you upon completion of registration on the Aman platform and provide user guides.
  3. Access the Aman Platform via the National Unified Access system (NAFATH).
  4. The facility can submit requests for issuing and renewing licenses via the Aman platform according to the Technical Regulations and Instructions published on the NRRC website.​​
Radioactive Sources Import Licensing Service: 
  1. Register on the National Nuclear Register platform and update all existing radioactive sources.
  2. Submission of the import request via Aman platform.​
Radioactive Sources Export Licensing Service:  
  1. Register on the National Nuclear Regulatory Register platform and update all existing radioactive sources.
  2. Submission of the export request via Aman platform.​
Radioactive Sources Possession Transfer Licensing Service:  ​
  1. Register on the National Nuclear Regulatory Register platform and update all existing radioactive sources.
  2. Submission of the possession transfer request via Aman platform.






Radiological Practices Licensing Service: 

  1. The requester should have an active account in NAFATH.
  2.   The requester should have an active account in Stakeholder Services Portal.​
Radioactive Sources Import Licensing Service: 
  1. The imported radioactive sources must comply with all conditions of the practice license.​
Radioactive Sources Export Licensing Service:
  1. The exported radiation sources must comply with all conditions of the practice license.​
Radioactive Sources Possession Transfer Licensing Service:  ​
    1. The radioactive sources to be transferred must comply with the practice license and be within the allowable quantity and activity for the receiving facility.






Radiological Practices Licensing Service: ​

  1. Facility Registration Application Form on an Aman platform.
  2. Legal Representative Sample Letter.
  3. Delegate Sample Letter.

Radioactive Sources Import Licensing Service: 

  1. The practice license must be valid for at least three months from the date of the application.
  2. Contract with a licensed facility to transport radioactive sources from the point of entry to the benefiting facility, with the transport license valid for at least three months from the application date.
  3. The radiation safety officer's license for both the beneficiary and transporting facility must be valid for at least three months from the application date and must be attached.
  4. A commitment letter from the manufacturer to retrieve the sealed sources upon the end of their use, specifying the beneficiary facility in Saudi Arabia and detailing the radioactive sources as stated in Article 247 of the (NRRC-R-01), which requires the supplier to accept the return of any unused sealed sources.
  5. A valid copy of the manufacturer's license certified by the competent authority in the country of origin (in English).​​
Radioactive Sources Export Licensing Service:  
  1. The practice license must be valid for at least three months from the date of the application.
  2. Contract with a licensed facility to transport radioactive sources from the benefiting facility to the point of export, with the transport license valid for at least three months from the application date.
  3. The radiation safety officer's license for both the beneficiary and transporting facility must be valid for at least three months from the application date.
  4. A valid copy of the manufacturer's license certified by the competent authority in the country of origin (in English).​
Radioactive Sources Possession Transfer Licensing Service:  ​
    1. The facility must have a valid practice license from the NRRC.
    2. Contract with a licensed facility by the NRRC to transport radioactive sources from the current facility or branch to the receiving facility or branch.
    1. Approval from the manufacturer of the radioactive sources for the transfer, committing to retrieve the sealed radioactive sources after their use.
