The Law on Nuclear and Radiological Control
The Law of Nuclear and Radiological Control (the Law) was promulgated by Royal Decree No. M/81 of 25/7/1439 AH (10/4/2018 AD). It aims to implement the highest standards of safety, security and nuclear safeguards for activities and facilities, provide adequate protection for human beings and the environment against the harmful effects of ionizing radiation, and to fulfil the Kingdom's obligations under treaties and conventions. The Law on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage
The Law of Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage was promulgated by Royal Decree No. M/82 of 25/7/1439 AH (10/4/2018) and is intended to regulate the provisions on compensation for nuclear damage caused by a nuclear accident within the territory of the Kingdom, as well as the accidents occurring outside the Kingdom during transfers to and from the Kingdom for which the operator is responsible. This is in the light of the Vienna Convention on Civil Liability for Nuclear Damage.

Law of Combating Crimes of Terrorism and its Financing
The Law of Combating Crimes of Terrorism and its Financing was enacted by Royal Decree No. (M/21) on 12/2/1439H (corresponding to 1/11/2017). This law is designed to combat any act committed by an individual or group, directly or indirectly, in pursuit of a criminal agenda aimed at disrupting public order, destabilizing society, or threatening the state's security and national unity. It also seeks to prevent actions that undermine the Basic Law of Governance or its provisions, damage state infrastructure or its natural and economic resources, coerce government authorities into taking or abstaining from certain actions, or harm individuals, including causing death. The law targets actions intended to terrorize the public or coerce a government or international organization into taking specific actions or refraining from them. The Statute of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC)
The Statute of the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC) was promulgated by Decree No. 334 of 25/6/1439 AH (12 /3/ 2018), after being approved by the Council of Ministers. The Charter defined the NRRC's objectives, functions, and terms of reference.

Implementation Rules for the Regulation on the Control of Nuclear and Radiological Uses
The Implementation Rules for the Regulation on the Control of Nuclear and Radiological Uses were prepared in accordance with the provisions of the Regulation on the Control of Nuclear and Radiological Uses issued by Royal Decree No. (M/82) on 25/7/1439H. The NRRC was tasked with preparing the implementation rules. These rules aim to achieve the highest standards of safety, security, and nuclear safeguards for radiological activities and facilities, providing appropriate protection for humans and the environment from the harmful effects of ionizing radiation, and fulfilling the Kingdom's obligations under relevant international treaties and agreements. The rules include procedures and regulations for the Committee for Reviewing Violations. The Board of Directors approved the implementation rules by Resolution No. (Q/4/2/2022) on 7/5/1444H (1/12/2022).
