The NRRC has implemented its foundational strategic plan for the years 2021-2023 to achieve the strategic goal of "protection from radiation risks while regulating its beneficial uses." The strategy encompasses two categories of strategic objectives aimed at achieving this goal:
- Category One: Objectives related to regulatory tasks and functions within the responsibilities and duties of the NRRC.
- Category Two: Enabling objectives aimed at building the NRRC's capabilities to fulfill its tasks and responsibilities.
The strategy comprises a total of fifteen objectives, with over fifty initiatives identified to achieve these objectives.
