​​​​Administrative Regulation of the NRRC

 This regulation  aims to add a competitive advantage to the NRRC by ret​aining and attracting distinguished human talents. The NRRC updated its administrative regulations to align with the unified national administrative regulations and governmental decisions. These updates were approved by the NRRC Board of Directors in Resolution No. ( Q 7/2/2022) dated 7/5/1444H, corresponding to 1/12/2022.


Principles and Rules for Determining Licensing Fees

This regulatory guideline aims to establish the principles and rules governing the fees for licenses and services provided by the NRRC. It aligns with national financial regulations, instructions, and rules to ensure the preservation and control of financial resources. This guideline was approved by the NRRC Board of Directors in Resolution No. (Q/1/3/2022) dated 4/6/1444H, corresponding to 28/12/2022. Click here to download​


​Occupational Health and Safety Policy ​

The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC), in line with its responsibility to protect people and the environment from ionizing radiation and to ensure the safe and peaceful use of nuclear energy, is committed to providing a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors, visitors, and stakeholders, including the monitoring and control of radiation doses for occupationally exposed workers. Additionally, the NRRC strives to achieve this commitment by adopting the National Policy on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and implementing the OHSMS in accordance with the requirements of ISO 45001:2018, and in compliance with all applicable national laws and regulations, to ensure the highest standards of workplace safety and prevention.


 First: Commitment

 The NRRC is committed to:

  1. Applying the highest standards and requirements of occupational health and safety and providing a safe and healthy working environment across all NRRC activities, and developing technical regulations that reflect its regulatory role in this field.
  2. Implementing the OHSMS in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 45001:2018.
  3. Complying with all applicable national laws and regulations related to occupational health and safety.
  4. Strengthening and promoting a safety culture, including nuclear safety culture and preventive awareness, and encouraging the active participation of all employees and stakeholders in matters related to occupational health and safety.  
  5. Continually improving the OHSMS and monitoring its performance, and developing human capabilities through training to ensure its effectiveness and sustainability.

Second: Expectations

The NRRC seeks to develop a culture of occupational health and safety within a safe, healthy, and engaging work environment, enabling its employees, visitors, and stakeholders to perform their duties efficiently and effectively.


Third: Verification and Review

This Policy is periodically reviewed by NRRC's top management to ensure its continued suitability, effectiveness, and alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and operational requirements.​
