First Intensive Training Program on "Radiation Protection and Safety of Radioactive Sources"

The NRRC concluded its first intensive training program titled "Radiation Protection and Safety of Radioactive Sources" today. The program spanned eight weeks, involving 14 local experts and 5 international experts. It included 152 theoretical lectures, 55 hours of practical training, and two field visits. This program, organized for the first time in the Kingdom on a regular basis, aims to enhance the culture of nuclear safety and develop radiation protection capabilities in various radiological practices.
