The Nuclear Safety Track provides participants with the knowledge and technical understanding of the principles and requirements that underpin the safety of nuclear facilities and associated activities. It covers accident prevention, risk control, and the protection of people and the environment from the potential effects of ionizing radiation. The track focuses on building a foundational understanding of nuclear facilities, nuclear and radiation technologies, and the technical and regulatory elements that support nuclear safety.

Participants are introduced to the principles of nuclear safety assessment, the importance of risk analysis, protective barriers, and the concept of defence in depth as a key principle for preventing accidents and mitigating their consequences. The track also links scientific, technical, and regulatory aspects, enabling participants to understand the relationship between facility design, operation, safety requirements, and the role of the regulatory body in verifying compliance.

 



  • Understand the fundamental concepts of nuclear safety and its role in protecting people and the environment from risks associated with nuclear facilities and activities.
  • Understand the nature and key components of nuclear facilities and the factors affecting their safety during design and operation.
  • Understand nuclear and radiation technology applications and their relationship to safety and regulatory requirements.
  • Recognize the principles of safety assessment for nuclear facilities and activities and their importance in supporting regulatory decision-making.
  • Enhance awareness of the relationship between technical and regulatory requirements in nuclear safety.
  • Log in to Aman Academy using your user credentials or through the National Single Sign-On (Nafath).
  • Go to the Academy homepage.
  • Browse the available training courses or use the search feature.
  • Select the desired learning path.
  • Review the course details (description, duration, prerequisites, and schedule).
  • Click Register or Enroll in the course.
  • Confirm your registration.
  • Go to My Courses to start the course.
  • Follow the training content and complete the required activities and assessments.
  • View your course results and download your certificate after meeting the course completion requirements.
  • The user must have an active account on the Academy.
  • The user is responsible for ensuring that all information provided during registration is accurate and complete.
  • Copying, republishing, or distributing the training content without prior authorization is prohibited.
