The Licensing, Inspection, and Enforcement Track develops participants' regulatory knowledge of the regulatory oversight cycle for radiological practices, beginning with regulatory authorization, continuing through inspection and compliance verification, and concluding with enforcement actions and the management of non-compliance. It is a practical track that links regulatory and technical requirements with day-to-day regulatory practice, enabling participants to understand the tools used by the regulatory body to ensure the safe and responsible use of radiation sources and technologies.
Participants are introduced to the fundamental concepts of licensing, inspection, and enforcement, regulatory inspection methodologies, and inspection reporting. The track also focuses on regulatory workflow, application review, inspection planning, evidence collection, documentation of findings, and professional reporting to support sound regulatory decisions.
