The NRRC participated in the ConvEx-1a exercise, which focuses on testing international communication and notification mechanisms for nuclear incidents. The exercise was conducted unexpectedly. The IAEA's report on the exercise indicated that 36% of the participating countries responded as required, with the Kingdom being among those countries.
