E-Participation Policy

In order to maximize the benefits of implementing the concept of e-participation, the Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission (NRRC) places great importance on providing opportunities for beneficiaries from all segments to express their opinions and suggestions on topics within the Commission’s scope of work. This supports business development and enhances the services provided to beneficiaries, while ensuring the protection of users’ data privacy.

To this end, the Commission emphasizes the importance of users adhering to a set of standards and guidelines when using the e-participation channels available on its website and platforms. All submitted comments are reviewed prior to publication, and the Commission reserves the right not to publish any comments it deems inappropriate.

Key Objectives of E-Participation
1. Adopting a beneficiary-centric approach by positioning beneficiaries at the core of decision-making, business development, and the design and improvement of services.
2. Enhancing transparency regarding information of public interest through surveys, blogs, polls, and publishing the results of these channels.
3. Providing multiple e-participation channels and facilitating access to them through direct links, along with clear descriptions for each channel.

Key Standards for Publishing Comments and Contributions
• Users must adhere to public etiquette and avoid using inappropriate or offensive language.
• Comments should be relevant to the topic under discussion and not deviate from it.
• Personal criticism that does not contribute constructively to the discussion should be avoided.
• Avoid sectarian, discriminatory, or sensitive religious topics.
• Ensure accuracy when quoting religious texts or expressing religious views, and such matters should only be addressed by specialists.
• Any form of disrespect toward religions or religious practices, or content that may provoke sectarian disputes, is strictly prohibited.
• Avoid sharing any personal information.

Collection of Contributions

The Commission provides opportunities for all users to communicate and share their experiences, suggestions, ideas, and concerns through e-participation platforms, with the aim of collecting feedback and consultations from beneficiaries.

Follow-up on Contributions

The Commission gives due attention to reviewing, evaluating, and responding to all contributions in line with their subject matter. It reserves the right not to publish or to remove any content that contradicts its policies or the applicable laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, without being obligated to do so.

Use of Contributions

The contributions received by the Commission are utilized in policy development and decision-making processes. The Commission reserves the right to use and republish the results in the manner it deems appropriate.

Disclaimer

Under no circumstances shall the Commission, its employees, or its representatives be held legally liable for any consequences arising from the publication of comments or feedback through its e-participation channels. The Commission is not legally responsible for any negative comments published through its platforms or for any consequences resulting from such publication.
