The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commision held an intensive three-week national training program entitled “Radiological Emergency Management” in cooperation with the International Emergency Center of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The program aims to enhance the capabilities of key national entities participating in the National Plan for Radiological and Nuclear Emergency Response to manage radiological emergencies by developing basic concepts for preparedness and response, and conducting multiple practical exercises for radiological emergency scenarios.
