The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission concluded its training program (Radiation Protection and Safety of Radioactive Sources) in its second session, which was held from January 29 to March 16, 2023. The program aims to raise national capabilities in understanding the nuclear and radiological regulatory functions necessary to enhance safety standards.

More than 30 trainees from various agencies participated in the program, which was delivered by 14 local experts and six international experts.
 The program included 125 theoretical lectures, 46 practical exercises, and eight practical experiments, in addition to field visits
The Authority held a ceremony to honor the lecturers and the organizing team from among its employees, on the occasion of the conclusion of the intensive training program and the achievement of its desired objectives,
 which contribute to promoting a culture of nuclear safety and developing radiation protection capabilities in various radiological practices.
