International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA​): The International Atomic Energy Agency is an independent international organization, separate from the United Nations. It serves as the international center for scientific and technical cooperation in the nuclear field, striving to promote the peaceful use of nuclear energy and prevent its use for any military purpose, including nuclear weapons. The IAEA contributes to international safety and security and supports the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. Its headquarters are in Austria. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia joined the IAEA in 1962. The NRRC aims to strengthen its strategic partnership with the IAEA as stipulated in Paragraph Eight of Article Three of the NRRC's statute, issued by the Council of Ministers Resolution No. (334) dated 25/6/1439H. The NRRC represents the Kingdom in the IAEA and other international organizations related to its activities and mandates.

United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation (UNSCEAR)​: The United Nations Scientific Committee on the Effects of Atomic Radiation was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1955. Its objectives are to assess and report on the levels and effects of exposure to ionizing radiation. Countries and organizations worldwide rely on UNSCEAR's estimates as a scientific basis for evaluating radiation risks and implementing protective measures.
