workshop titled “Use of Radiation Survey Instruments in Regulatory Authority Fields” was held at the beginning of 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to enhance the technical and regulatory capabilities of professionals working in this vital field. The workshop aimed to elevate participants’ theoretical and practical knowledge regarding the principles of radiation detection, including an understanding of the physical properties of different types of radiation. It also provided a comprehensive overview of the various types of radiation survey instruments used in regulatory contexts, such as portable and fixed monitoring devices, as well as contamination detection equipment.
