Training of Trainers

Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission organized the third edition of the “Training of Trainers” workshop from May 11 to 14, 2026, at the Commission’s headquarters, as part of its internal training programs dedicated to its employees. The workshop was held within the framework of the Commission’s continuous efforts to develop human capital and enhance institutional performance efficiency, in line with development goals and the strengthening of national capabilities in specialized regulatory and technical fields.

The workshop aimed to develop participants’ skills in designing, preparing, and delivering training programs with a high level of professionalism, while enhancing their ability to transfer knowledge and practical expertise through modern and interactive training methods that support the regulatory work environment and improve the quality of training outcomes within the Commission.

The workshop featured an intensive training program that included 10 specialized theoretical lectures, in addition to a number of practical activities that provided participants with the opportunity to apply training skills in real-life scenarios and receive feedback from participating specialists and experts. These activities contributed to strengthening participants’ confidence and capabilities in managing training programs efficiently and professionally, while preparing qualified national trainers capable of transferring knowledge and supporting the sustainability of capacity building within the Commission.

The workshop was attended by several employees from various departments and specializations within the Commission. The program was delivered by a group of specialists and experts in training and institutional development, who presented best practices and modern approaches in designing and implementing training programs, in addition to discussing challenges related to knowledge transfer processes within regulatory and technical work environments.

This workshop comes as part of a series of initiatives and training programs implemented by the Commission with the aim of investing in human capability development, enhancing the professional competence of its employees, and promoting a culture of continuous learning, thereby supporting institutional excellence and strengthening the readiness of national competencies in the fields of nuclear and radiological regulation.
