Developing an Integrated National Nuclear Regulatory Framework

The Nuclear and Radiological Regulatory Commission presented the Kingdom’s experience titled "Developing an Integrated National Nuclear Regulatory Framework" during the meeting of the International Nuclear Regulatory Cooperation Forum, as part of the activities of the General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency.

The presentation addressed the features of the national nuclear regulatory framework, including systems, legislation, and regulatory provisions that contribute to enhancing nuclear safety and security and raising the level of compliance with international standards.

This participation comes within the framework of exchanging expertise with member states and showcasing national experiences that contribute to the development of regulatory systems and the strengthening of international cooperation in the nuclear field.
